Elora, Ontario in the Summer

Hi everyone! Hope your summer is going great and you guys are taking advantage of the long weekend well! In this post, I wanna share with you guys about our one-day trip to Elora! Our mission was to tube in Elora Gorge Conservation Area and then hit the swim-hole at Elora Quarry Conservation Area. Unfortunately, things did not go as planned. We didn't make it to the Elora Quarry, but we still had a wonderful experience. We booked a car via Zip Car for a full day that cost us about $160, tax and insurance included. We hit the road at 7AM to avoid traffic since we assumed many people are going out of the city as well. It took us about 2 hours to get there and we managed to grab snacks at McDonald's and Walmart. To get into the Elora Gorge Conservation Area, visitors must pay an admission fee of $7/adult at the entrance.
