First SHEIN Order

I have been really busy with work in the last couple of weeks and I get really tired by the time I reach home. I spent the weekends cleaning the apartment, running errands, making time to see some friends and having a good rest so I can start the week fresh. However, I do want to share my experience shopping from SHEIN.
It's my first time purchasing from this store but I have been checking their website for some time and always ended up not getting anything after seeing bad reviews on YouTube. When I decided to actually click the "confirm payment" button, I was not expecting anything in good quality. Simply, I just want something that I can wear a couple of times and don't look hideous on me.
Turned out, I'm really happy with my purchase. It's on par with shopping from other fast fashion brands; Forever21, Garage, Urban Planet, etc. The shipment took 5-6 business days and merchandise was decently packed in an individual plastic bag. I bought 3 items and I like all of them.

Let's start with my favorite purchase. This crop top is just so cute. The sleeves are so flattering if you have broad shoulders like me. The square neck style elongates your neck. It pairs well with jeans, dress pants, or even shorts for the season. In this picture, I wore it with an A-line corduroy skirt that I got from Marshall. This top has a shirred back and zipper on the side, so don't worry about getting into this top with your full make-up on.
Cons: I wish the length of the back part is a bit shorter. The shirred back keeps folding up whenever I start walking. It's not a big deal and it also depends on the body type.

Let's get a close up look at the first picture. I got this cute geometric resin earrings that I love. Very retro looking especially with the blouse I was wearing. It has a white and beige marble effect. I have used this 4 times and it still in a perfect condition. What more can I ask?
Cons: None.

- Sweetheart Neck Ruffle Trim Polkadot Dress
This dress is also a very cute one! The ruffle trim and the sweetheart neckline add the fun. The length is perfect, just above the knee. Breathable material, perfect for summer. Honestly, this dress isn't really my style because of the bright color, but I need to change it up sometimes. I paired it with a straw sling bag for a vintage vibe - I forgot where I got this bag from :(.
Cons: The ruffle trim is adorable but it makes my arms look bigger and my shoulders look broad because of the extra volume illusion. The fabric is printed on one side, so when the trim bounces as you move, you can see the "dull" side of the fabric and it really annoys me because that's the only thing that makes it look cheap. Again, no big deal!
Let's talk a bit about their website. It deserves a mention because it is well organized and have complete categories. It has all kinds of refinements such as style (cute, sexy, boho, casual, sporty), sleeve length, material, neckline, pattern type, etc. They carry men's, plus size, and some cute stationery items too.
Eligible items are refundable within 30 days of receipt and return is made at your own cost. That being said, it's almost not-worth-it to return any item because it already is so cheap. But, I have a tip to minimize disappointment: read through the reviews. Unless you are so so sure that the item you see will make you look like a Gucci, don't get it if it doesn't have any review. Look at the picture posted by people who had bought it and see if your body has a similar shape or size with the other shoppers. Some of the reviewers share information about their weight, height, bra size, etc, and this is really helpful to decide on the size.
